Nowadays, it is very common to hear about organic products and their wonders; these products range from food to cosmetics. And perhaps, for us, there remains the question of whether these products are actually better or whether it is worth paying for that difference in price compared to conventional products.

To begin with, we have to define what an organic food is, which means that during its production, no toxic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, genetically modified organisms or even radiation-free have been used. In the case of products of animal origin, it means that no antibiotics or hormones were added, and that their diet was based on natural products.

The problem with conventional products is that, unfortunately, we are too many people in the world, that in order to satisfy the demand, we have had to resort to this type of practices, which are harmful to our health.

As the saying goes, «cheap is expensive»; that said, it is completely worthwhile to consume organic products in an intelligent manner. These are some reasons why it is convenient to consume them:

1.They do not harm our health

As they are free of pesticides, fertilizers, hormones, and antibiotics, they do not harm us.

2. They do not affect the environment

So, no pesticides or fertilizers are used, air, water and soil are protected.

3. They are much more nutritious

Several studies have shown that organic products conserve their nutrients better and have higher concentrations of antioxidants.
